Mark Wayne, steel player from Tomahawk, Wisconsin, took up playing guitar at 11 and steel guitar at 12, and was a student of Ben Reehl and Eddie Rivers during the ‘80s and ‘90s.  He spent the ‘90s working with Vic Eliason of WVCY (98.9 FM) Radio from Milwaukee in 1991, with friend, Roy Allen (childhood friend of Earl Scruggs), followed by joining the Country-Gospel group, Harbor Lighthouse, for seven years from 1999 to 2006. 

Mark has performed in many towns throughout northern Wisconsin including Wausau, Rhinelander, Eagle River and Minocqua - and with many of the Northwoods greats including Skip Wagner and Jim Sheppele and others.
